Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman slams Congress during BJP's Executive meeting
Chandigarh, July 14 Slamming the congress, senior BJP leader and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today said the Congress could not win even 100 seats in the third consecutive Lok Sabha elections, facing its third worst defeat in this election. Sitharaman was speaking during Chandigarh State Executive meeting of the city BJP where she was the chief guest. She later also held a meeting with traders to understand their issues and listen to thier demands. The minister further said the Congress could not win even a single seat in 14 states. Total 13 INDI alliance party could win only 232 seats while the BJP by its own won 242 seats "But they are celebrating as if they have won the elections. In the last 10 Lok Sabha elections thst is from 1984 to 2024 the congress could not cross even 250 seat mark. But, they have this artificial confidence," she said.
